Microsoft’s two emergency Internet Explorer security patches
By: Jamie Pert | July 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a report on ComputerWorld it seems that Microsoft will be releasing a few patches soon for its software, two of which are important patches for Internet Explorer. It is thought that these updates will be available on Tuesday 28th July at around 1pm ET.
One of the new updates is to patch a vulnerability on a video streaming ActiveX control, apparently this vulnerability has remained unpatched for over a year, however Microsoft did disable the ActiveX control to disable the attacks.
