IPhone and Verizon Wireless: AT&T exclusive lastability

Randall Stephenson, CEO for AT&T has been explaining the exclusive deal that they have with the Apple iPhone, which has been the company’s rainmaker, but he does understand that the deal has no lastability, as it will not last forever. Verizon have been waiting in the wings for some time and are ready to offer its customers the most popular handset on the market.

Stephenson has admitted that AT&T’s exclusive partnership with Apple will end at some stage. When the iPhone is offered through other carriers, then it will be down to which network can offer the best quality. The exclusive deal is expected to end in 2010.

Since 2008, AT&T have increased its subscribers by almost 7 million, many of them as you expect have taken out deals with the Apple iPhone. This numbers have increased since the launch of the iPhone 3G S last month. 1.2 million new users have signed up since in the second quarter alone.

“Verizon have been waiting in the wings for some time and are ready to offer its customers the most popular handset on the market.” - Mr. Chubb obviously need to study his English grammar, particularly the matter of subject-verb agreement. When a subject is singular, such as the company Verizon is, the verb need also to be singular as it aren’t here in his usage or mine. Maabe some peoples like Ching Ching or others says “Verizon have,” or “are ready to offer its customers,” but most us peoples as talk good no how to say this more better, as in
“Verizon has been waiting in the wings for some time, and is ready to offer its customers the most popular handset on the market.”

Verizon, or PR News, or whoever is responsible for this, for Christ’s sake! Verizon’s service is lousy enough without having to read this illiterate drivel! Fire this guy and get someone who can at least write a simple English sentence!

Are you really the one to complain about grammer? Read your own comment before you publish when this is the subject of your complaint!

In northern California we are desperate for the Verizon iPhone. AT&T coverage is terrible around here. On the other hand, Verizon customer service can be a nightmare.
