
BlackBerry Tour Lacks Wi-Fi: New MicroSD Card fixes that
By: Jamie Pert | July 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentFor those of you who were disappointed with the news that the BlackBerry Tour would not offer WiFi good news could be on the way, following our recent article regarding the microSD cards with built in WiFi many experts now believe that non WiFi compliant devices will soon be able to use these cards to add the functionality.
Although at the moment it is hard to say whether or not these cards will be cheap enough for handsets to consider using them the potential does seem quite great, one other thing that will have to be proven is the range of these new cards as you would think with such a small card it would e difficult to get a good range.
