As many of you know the latest BlackBerry handset (BlackBerry Tour) is said to be the greatest BlackBerry handset yet, however there have not been many reviews really questioning whether the BlackBerry Tour meets all of the hype, there is now an article on Switched which really looks into the Tour’s all round performance and functionality.
The Tour has a faster processor then its predecessors along with a high resolution camera and fuller featured web browser. Switched seem very happy with the overall design of the Tour as it is relatively slim and fits in your hand comfortably, the display is said to be extremely clear, vibrant and crisp and the keyboard is said to be easy to use and laid out nicely.
There are however some disappointing things about the BlackBerry Tour, one of the biggest disappointments is the lack of WiFi, it seems very disappointing for a high end smartphone to not feature this technology. Also according to the review by Switched the battery life is not as good as some of its closest competitors.
The handset is available on the Verizon and Sprint carriers, both for $199.99 on a two year contract. To see the full review head over to Slacked.
