
Apple Touch and Go USB Portable Device

It is thought that the new system will be known as ‘Touch and Go’, while there is also a separate ‘text to speech’ feature on the way.
The news is according to this report from Apple Insider. They have stated that the patent was originally filed back in March, but only now has details been revealed on it. Head over to AI to see close up images of the patent and how the technology will work.
The patent indicates that the new system will not be restricted to the iPhone or iPod either, as it will also cover USB devices, SD cards, mobile phones, media players, game consoles computer peripherals, biometric sensors, headsets and more.
