Samsung and LG watchphones compared

Buzz This

With the releases of Samsung’s S9110 and LG’s GD910 not far away we thought it would be a good time to compare the watchphones, both watchphones will available soon, apparently the Samsung S9110 will be released before the end of the month, whereas the LG GD910 will be released some time in August.

There are quite a few differences between the devices, the S9110 has a 1.76 inch touchscreen display, 40MB of internal storage, it supports Bluetooth 2.1, can synchronize with Outlook Email, has voice recognition and a few other features. The GD910 has a 1.43 inch touchscreen display, 2GB of internal storage, it supports Bluetooth 2.0, it is waterproof and also supports Text to Speech (TTS) and a few other features. The S9110 is said to retail at around £640 whereas the GD910 will retail at more than $1000.

dude, I’d give it up to the GD910. You never know when a water proof can come in handy. I’m a swimmer, I love to just jump in pools and do that swimmy shit. But, I’ve always had a few instances where I would take my watch off and lose at the pool. Having a water-proof cellphone watch is perfect for me. $1000 is a little much but still a go-go.
