Intel Chip releases planned for January 2010
By: Jamie Pert | July 23, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a report on SlashGear it seems that Intel’s new Pine Trail-M and Pine Trail-D new netbook platforms will now arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2010, this is also the case for the Pine Trail Atom N450 processor, also at this time Intel are hoping to release its new 32nm Core i9 processors, which have 6 cores.
The nettop Pine Trail-D platform combines either the Atom D410 or Atom D510 processor with Intel’s NM10 chipset, the key difference between the Atom D410 and the Atom D510 is that the D410 is single core whereas the D510 is dual core. The Core i9 processors are said to be based on Intel’s Westmere platform, however details on clock speeds have not yet been announced.
