We mentioned a few days ago that a final Windows 7 RTM build had been hitting the Internet, since then there have been many rumors stating that the Release to Manufacturing build was ready for a release. Microsoft was quick to say that just because there is a leaked Windows 7 RTM; it does not mean that it is completed.
Well guess what, the Microsoft Windows 7 RTM is complete and its release date is August 6. Microsoft’s Windows Communication Manager, Brandon LeBlanc has said that TechNet subscribers will be able to download the RTM from that date, other languages will have to wait until October 1 for the RTM to arrive.
Techtree.com is also reporting that Microsoft Connect or Microsoft Developer Network of independent software and hardware vendor partners will be able to download the RTM on August 6 also, while Microsoft Partner Program Gold members will be able to download Windows 7 RTM on August 16.
