A few days ago, Kikizo had an interview with Microsoft’s corporate VP, Shane Kim. In that interview, a number of topics were discussed and one of those was the possibility of a Portable Xbox. Kim did get our hopes up, as he gave some interesting quotes, which seemed to confirm the shift into the handheld game market.
The question on our minds is when and that is the $64,000 question. Shane Kim had mentioned about Microsoft’s new ‘Live Anywhere’ service, this led Kikizo into asking the question about the launch of an Xbox handheld, or Xboy as some people have dubbed it.
Kim did speak briefly about moving into the handheld market, saying that Microsoft did not know if they would do their own device, he even mentioned about creating their own phone. Kim just asked if they would go down the route of Windows Mobile, or do they offer something different.

To quote the article “So the question will be, how do we enter into that market - do we do our own device, do we create our own phone”
To quote you “saying that Microsoft did not know if they would do their own device”
So come on, guys. Leading with a headline “Microsoft Confirms Portable Xbox: But When” is just plain sensationalist rubbish.
