
Yahoo’s new Customizable Home Page: A Closer Look

The new look Yahoo homepage will be available in beta from for users in the U.S. first, Europe and India will get it later this week and Asia will get the new home page next year.
The new Yahoo home page is different in the way that it allows for a user to customize the page, allowing them to see news, social networks and other services that we use each day. Although the new Yahoo home page is a few months early, it did not come as a surprise to most of us.
According to Business Week, Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz has said that these planned changes are important to Yahoo’s future. It is no secret that Yahoo has been losing ground to the likes of Facebook, Google and Twitter. Yahoo was once the company to chase; now it seems that Yahoo is doing all the chasing.
