ESPN Reporter Erin Andrews Hotel Video Spreading Virus

We recently learned from In Entertainment that ESPN Reporter Erin Andrews was to sue the person who filmed her undressing in her hotel room. The Baltimore Sun have since learned that this video is being used to spread a computer virus, according to anti-virus software company, sophos.com.

The video of Andrews was shot through the peephole of the reporter’s hotel room, and not long after was all over the Internet. Over a period of a few days, a number of websites claimed to have links to the video of Andrews undressing, but this was a way for them to start the spread of a virus on to your computer.

It is no secret that hackers will take what is popular at the time and use this as a platform to spread mayhem. They have not been slow on the uptake when launching new WebPages claiming to have video footage of the ESPN Reporter Erin Andrews. Take this as a warning; do not click on any links that say that they have the video.
