Comic-Con 2009 is just days away and for all those who own an iPhone and are attending the event, then you should download the official Comic-Con iPhone app. This application provides all of the information that can be found in the Comic-Con International program book.
Some of the content includes maps of the halls and exhibit floor, news feed and program schedules. EA have already offered up their Schedule. The great thing about having this app available on the Apple iPhone, is the fact that the maps are multi-touch zoomable, making it easier to find where you are going.
Slash Film have been taking a closer look at the Comic-Con iPhone app, in their review they mention that although it is a great tool, it is not perfect. One of the problems is with the maps; it does not switch to landscape mode. Slash Film also complain about the exhibitor and panel search, there is a lot that could be improved.
The review does end on a good note, saying that Comic-Con have done a good job in offering this app for free. Maybe next year the Comic-Con app will be improved.
