Nokia N86 8MP to launch in U.S. to Improve Market Position

Last Friday, Nokia announced that they were to launch to N86 8MP to the U.S., following on from the handset’s success in Europe and India when it was launched in June. Nokia hopes to be able to copy that success to the American market. Only time will tell if Nokia are successful.

GixHQ reports that it is no secret that Nokia are struggling to increase its market position in the U.S., which is seen as the best opportunity for Nokia’s business to grow. The N86 is just one of a number of phones that Nokia are to launch in the U.S. following great sales in other parts of the world.

The Nokia N86 8MP is a dual slider handset, the numbered keys are at the bottom with the media keys on the top. The cell phone comes with an AM-OLED(Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen, offering a resolution of 320 x 240.

The Nokia N86 8MP is a Symbian S60 handset and offers support for Mail for Exchange, Ovi Maps and Ovi Contacts. For a full review of the Nokia N86, visit gizhq.com
