Windows Mobile Marketplace and HandMarket Apps

Following the growing popularity of App Stores on the iPhone and Palm Pre etc it now seems that Microsoft are beginning to start to put their Windows Mobile Marketplace plans into action. Microsoft have now announced they will start taking submissions of applications for their Marketplace later this month.

There is still no date set for the launch of the Marketplace, however an alternative should be available at the end of this month, the alternative is called Handmark’s HandMarket Apps, basically the application is a dashboard which allows easy viewing of a wide range of apps which are available for your particular handset, beta testers have been extremely happy with the application.
