Microsoft Office 2010: The Complete Guide
By: Peter Chubb | July 17, 2009 | 1 CommentMicrosoft have a busy few months ahead of them, this is because they are working on two big updates from their software range. The first is Windows 7, which you can preorder now and the second is Microsoft Office 2010, and the new suite will come with a host of cool new features, which The Washington Post helps to explain in its complete guide.
The Washington Post had the chance to see an in-depth demo of Office 2010, which is filled with a host of programs all designed to make our life easier. The FREE, lightweight Web browsers versions of Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint and Word will have fewer features than the full desktop versions, but they still offer us a basic set of tools to edit and make changes to our documents.
PowerPoint 2010 receives a completely new set of bells and whistles; users are now able to edit video and images. Excel 2010 will now run in the browser and spreadsheets can now be published to the browser using the desktop version.
