LG’s 30-inch OLED panel will release in 2012
By: Jamie Pert | July 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a report shown on Engadget it seems that LG’s original target date for release of 32” OLED panels has now been moved back to 2012, one major reason which has contributed to this is the current economic state.
Its not all bad news though as LG’s 15” OLED TV’s should be available sometime this December, which makes you think it can’t be long until larger OLED displays are created by LG, especially as Samsung and Sony seem confident of mid size OLED displays before 2010.
Obviously one major factor will be the retail prices, not many details have been revealed, however I expect these prices to start very high, hopefully reducing as competition increases.
