Opera Software not happy with Windows 7 tweaks
By: Jamie Pert | July 16, 2009 | Leave a CommentOpera Software have made further complaints regarding Microsoft’s European antitrust resolution for Windows 7, currently European versions of Windows 7 are not allowed to be supplied with Internet Explorer 8 as this apparently breaks European antitrust laws.
The reason that Opera Software have made another complaint is because they have found out the Windows 7 European edition will only disable the Internet Explorer 8 browser not actually remove it completely, and because all of the files are still there it will be very simple for users to enable Internet Explorer 8.
Personally I feel that Microsoft have made enough sacrifices with these antitrust laws and feel that Apple don’t seem to have restrictions on their Safari browser, so why should Microsoft.
