More apps for Sony’s PS3 and PSP Go

A developer who has previously worked in development studios which have created games for the PlayStation 3 and the PSP has revealed that Sony made several approaches to the developmental teams to create applications for both consoles.

So far not a lot of applications have been mentioned, however popular things like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and Youtube are said to be top of the list, which is quite obvious given their success on Apple’s iPhone.

It is thought the next application that will be seen on the PlayStation 3 is a social networking platform known as PlayStation Cloud, this will be available to PSN users.

What applications would you like to see on your PlayStation 3?
