Microsoft SharePoint 2010: More Details

Following all the Microsoft releases that we have covered lately such as, Windows 7, Office 2010, Office Mobile 2010 and Windows Azure now Microsoft are beginning to talk about Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

Testing of the software has already began, and a technical-preview is available on a invitation only basis, Microsoft did state that they hope for a public beta to be available later this year, with an official release sometime in early 2010.

The latest version is said to have had a complete makeover and improved functionality, one of these new functions is called Web edit, this allows users to easily edit content on their website as if it was just an Office document.
