
Counter-Strike v1.6 Update: Download on Steam
By: Alan Ng | July 16, 2009 | 4 CommentsGood news for all you Counter-Strike 1.6 addicts out there, as Valve have just released a small update to the classic shooter. It’s now available to download next time you boot up your game.
As reported from Examiner, the update is only a small one and contains a few new additions to the Half Life engine. On a side note, Valve has also added a new feature to Condition Zero, one of the series’ various add-on games.
As written by Valve, here are the official update notes:
Half-Life Engine
- Added -sys_ticrate command line option to allowed forced override of ticrate
- Prevent more cases of server redirection
Counter-Strike/Condition Zero
- Added -nobots option to allow forced override of bots on servers
