
New Tool: Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes
By: Jamie Pert | July 15, 2009 | Leave a CommentYesterday Google announced that they were releasing a tool which would allow users to migrate from Lotus Notes to Google Apps. This will allow users to migrate their Lotus Notes email, calendar items and contact lists.
This is Google’s latest attempt to push their Google Apps towards enterprises, which in the long run is a push towards their cloud computing plans using Google Chrome OS.
With Google pushing the usage of their Google Apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Chrome (web browser), Google Docs and eventually Google Chrome OS it seems Google are aiming to supply everything for the end user.
