Microsoft Windows 7 Beats 17 weeks of Vista sales in 8 hours
By: Jamie Pert | July 15, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to Amazon since the opening of the Windows 7 UK pre-order thousands of customers have raced to get their copies, this has resulted in Windows 7 topping the software chart.
Reports are also stating that within the first 8 hours of pre-orders with Windows 7 more copies were sold then in the entire 17 week pre-order period which Windows Vista had.
There are two main reasons for the huge sales figures, one reason is because of the extremely low sales prices, and another reason is due to the extremely good reviews it has received.
See the full story on PocketLint, if you would like to purchase your copy head over to Amazon who have the software on its homepage.
