Killzone 2 vs. Call of Duty: Which do you play?

When we think of modern first person shooters for the Sony PS3 or the Xbox 360, two games come to mind, that is Killzone 2 and Call of Duty. We have to remember that Halo started on this Genre for games consoles, but has been left behind with these new games on the market.

Halo did not have much in the way of competition, that was until Call of Duty 4 came along, and the rest as we know is history. The release of Killzone 2 broke new boundaries in gaming, but with the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2, we could be in for an epic battle.

Both Killzone and Call of Duty games offer something different to the user, with Killzone 2 it is about carnage and skill, but Call of Duty is all about the carnage and has always been fast paced. The choice is very hard to make, but you need to make one.

Which do you play: Killzone 2 or Call of Duty?

    You should reword your questions. You mention COD4:MW in the story. Then Mention COD:MW2 later on. So which COD game are you refferring to in your question: COD4:MW or COD:WAW or COD:MW2.

    From these three I am playing KZ2 now. I skipped on WAW because it was back to WWII era. I will be playing COD:MW2 on release date.

    It sounds like you are just comparing KZ2 to all of the latest COD games. In that case, I can’t choose. KZ2 is innately a more tactical shooter and COD4 is more of a Frag Fest. So it’s based on players preference. My preference is to play the new title. Right now that will be COD:MW2. But until then, I’ll be rocking KZ2.

    Everyone is playing Killzone 2 now because is the new king of FPS. Call of Duty is fun but never as fun as Killzone 2 or Resistance 1 & 2. Call of Duty is more hype.

    If you got a ps3 and enjoy fps you should really get killzone 2 (its a terrific game) and support sony exclusives, otherwise you might as well just get a 360

    I’d say Call of Duty everytime, I have KZ2 and I was incredibly disappointed by it, Call of Duty is also still doing amazingly well sitting at 9th in the charts this week in the UK nearly 2 years after release.

    killzone 2 actually needs SKILL to play, the only bad part is that it is only for ps3 =.=
    people whom say cod is realistic is WRONG.
    hint the snipers, the landing perfectly fine after a 100 ft drop, holding 2 p90's, using 2 model 1887's at the same time, and even more stuff
    killzone 2 is better in every aspect except for the long loading times and aiming is a right thumbstick click

    i voted killzone 2 the best bcouse in mw2 the player u play with is really sucky its like ur plaing on a cheap shooting game but everything around it is great the graphics are awesome. but killzone has almost all of that. the movement of ur player is awsome its just like ur playing playing the movement of the weapon and such.
