IPhone SDK 3.1 and OS 3.1: beta 2’s released to developers

Apple are not standing still in the rush to get out iPhone OS 3.1, we know that iPhone SDK 3.1 beta 1 was released a few days ago and now Apple have managed to push out iPhone OS 3.1 beta 2. We mentioned in a recent post that one feature would be the disabling of tethering hacks for AT&T customers.

Not much was known about this latest SDK, but SoftSailer have learned a few things that you might find interesting. As yet there is no official release date for iPhone OS 3.1, but we will keep you updated as to when it is made available for download.

The latest update will allow iPhone users to manipulate live video, the tethering has also been disabled, so think before you download and run this new SDK. Apple did inform us that a number of bugs have been fixed, along with a few security updates and enhancements.
