IKey AK-39 wearable keyboard
By: Jamie Pert | July 15, 2009 | Leave a CommentA new ruggedized wearable keyboard has been reviewed on TestFreaks, the keyboard is made by iKEY and is called the AK-39. The keyboard is said to have been designed for usage with soldiers, and has been designed to suit a wide range of environments.
One of the main considerations was to make it relatively small, the physical dimensions measure up at 6.91: x 3.06” x 0.81” with such a small size it fits on the forearm perfectly without becoming an inconvenience. The keyboard also features adjustable green LED backlighting, this allows easier viewing in harder conditions, also this allows the keyboard to be seen with night vision.
