Desktop Google Android with x86 LiveCD

For all of you who have wanted to try Google Android out, there is a solution for you non T-Mobile G1 owners. Live-Android lets users download a LiveCD disc image of the Google Android operating system, enabling you to try out the system on your desktop.

As reported from DownloadSquad, all users need to do is simply burn the downloaded image to a disc, stick it in a CD-ROM drive, and reboot your computer and then presto, you’ll have Android running on your PC for you to check out.

Its certainly a great way to check out how Android works, especially if you’re planning on picking up an Android-powered handset. Let us know how you get on.
