BlackBerry Tour and Small Crowd
By: Peter Chubb | July 15, 2009
Early on Sunday morning a small crowd was waiting outside a Verizon Wireless store in Boston for about two hours, this was so that they could get their hands on the latest RIM device, the BlackBerry Tour. This new handset is seen as a minor upgrade from the Curve and Bold.
We mentioned in a recent article that the new BlackBerry Tour would go on sale for $200 with a mail-in-rebate, which is for a two-year contract. One proud owner of the new Tour has been telling Computer World all about his new handset, he put his new handset against his older BlackBerry Bold, he said that the Tour is cute as it is a little smaller than the Bold.
Most of the crowd that was interviewed that morning all agreed on one thing and that is their love for a physical keyboard. One said that as he has large fingers it often got difficult for him to type on a touch screen keyboard. Read what else these new owners had to say about their new handset by visiting Computer World.
