Bill Gates: Project Natal for Xbox 360 and Windows OS

According to reports yesterday Microsoft also plan to bring Project Natal to Windows, for those of you who don’t know what Project Natal is, it is basically a gesture responsive technology which allows your gestures to be picked up on a wide range of sensors and cameras, these gestures then perform actions in a virtual environment (see the video below for more details).

Obviously there are many different ways in which the technology can be used, and gaming is just one of them, Bill Gates says its not just for games “but for media consumption as a whole, and even if they connect it up to Windows PCs for interacting in terms of meetings, and collaboration, and communication.”
