Apple tablet with claims of Apple-designed CPU

According to a report from China Times, an Apple Mac Tablet is coming. There has been much speculation over a Mac Tablet for some time now and this is just the latest. The report suggests that Foxconn will manufacture the new device.

The Apple Mac Tablet is rumored to have 9.7in diagonal measure touch screen, this will be made by Wintek. If this rumor is true, then this new touch screen device will lift the new Apple tablet over the ever-popular netbook commodity market.

A recent Mac Rumors report suggested that the new device would sell for around $800. Apple is thought to use an Apple-design CPU. Therefore, we now know that the new Mac Tablet will be powered by an Apple CPU and should launch in October. If this is true then this is great timing, as that is when Microsoft is to launch its new Windows 7 OS, which is now available for preorder.
