Unlocked iPhones have Push Notifications blocked

You may have read our post a while back about iPhone OS 3.0’s new feature Push Notifications, well according to a report on MacRumors unlocked versions of the handset that are running on non-official wireless carriers are having push notifications blocked.

PoweryBase are a company who create the application ‘NotifyMe’, this application uses push notification to send reminders and to-do alerts on the go to the iPhone, they seem to have spotted a pattern between unlocked iPhones and Apples server failing to respond.

Apparently the iPhone Dev Team have known of this issue for a while now and are working on a fix for it, there should be a solution available soon.
