
NVIDIA releases new drivers for GeForce GTX 285
By: Jamie Pert | July 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentNVIDIA have recently released new drivers for their GeForce GTX 285 graphics card, the new drivers are specifically for aftermarket version of the card, this version of the card is used in the Mac Pro.
As with all new drivers better performance and stability is the key, well NVIDIA have informed MacRumors that the new card offers up to 20% better performance for gaming, also Mac Pro users are urged to update the driver before installing the next OS X update as without the latest driver your system can hang.
For those of you who don’t own a GeForce GTX 285 you can pick one up from Apple Store for $449.95, the card is compatible with early 2008 and early 2009 versions of the Mac Pro. The card will add significantly better 3D performance.
