Nokia Surge on AT&T: Price and release date

We have known about the Nokia Surge for a few months now, we also featured a video of the latest AT&T handset at the beginning of the month. AT&T has finally started to offer us the information that we need and that is its release date and price.

The Nokia Surge like most other Nokia handsets run on Symbian S60, this Smartphone is aimed at those who love social media. This is made easy with the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard and a browser that offers Flash support.

Engadget informs us that the price of the Nokia Surge is just $79.99; this is after a mail-in-rebate. To get the handset for that price you will have to spend at least $30 per month on your data plan. The release date for the phone is July 19, 2009, which is this Sunday.
