New Acer Netbook with dual-boot: XP and Android
By: Alan Ng | July 14, 2009
It has been revealed that Acer are planning to release their highly anticipated dual-OS netbook this August. The new machine will come equipped with Windows XP and Android, giving users to option to choose between the two.
As reported from DigiTimes, the launch will make it the world’s first Android equipped netbook when it goes on sale. No word on price yet, but thats expected to come out shortly, we’ll keep you updated for when it does.
It is also known that Acer will have to pay licensing fees for Windows XP on the netbook, so that means that the product is unlikely to be priced lower than XP-only models.
Dual-boot netbook, who fancies that then?
