LG LX290 released on Sprint

One of LG’s latest handsets the LX290 has been released on Sprint, the handset is not aimed at the high end smartphone market, instead it is a cheap slider which will offer good day to day usage without offering an advanced Operating System, Camera, App Store etc.

Feature wise there is not too much to mention, it offers all the usual calendar, text messaging, low end camera, e-mail etc, however one thing that comes a as bit of a surprise is that it comes bundled with Facebook and Photobucket sharing, this feature would be a little more useful if the camera was better then its current 1.3megapixels.

The handset will be available on a very cheap price plan and in my opinion serves a purpose to customers wanting a handset just for phonecalls, messaging and email. Check out IntoMobile for further details.
