
Hitachi SimpleTOUGH and SimpleDRIVE Mini USB drives
By: Alan Ng | July 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentHitachi have just released two new portable USB hard drives onto the market. The SimpleTOUGH portable USB drive and SimpleDRIVE Mini both offer a different choice for customers and both are available to buy right now.
As reported from Engadget, the SimpleTOUGH portable USB drive is water and shock proof. It comes in 250/320/500GB versions and is priced at $99.99/$119.99/$149.99 respectively. The device can apparently withstand a 3-meter fall and also comes equipped with a twistable USB cable.
The SimpleDRIVE Mini is aimed towards the more stylish people and it comes in a variety of colors, such as Red Wine, Blue Dusk or carbon fiber black. Pricing details for those can be found over at Engadget, where you can also read the official press release.
