
Comcast’s On Demand Service: HBO, Cinemax on way

Engadget reckons that this news should not come as a surprise, as HBO have been hinting for a while that they wanted to offer its programs online. Cinemax are also to offer its service through Comcast.
This new HBO service will offer a mix of television shows and movies, some of the latest TV shows will be made available, such as True Blood and Entourage. It is also thought that HD streaming will be included in the new service.
Those who will be most interested in this new On Demand service will be premium channel subscribers, so you had better sign up to become part of the trials. Comcast is to launch the trial in the coming weeks to 5,000 customers nationwide
The On Demand service is proving to be very popular now, in a recent post we reported that Blockbuster On Demand will be included in a host of new Samsung devices.
