BlackBerry direct music downloads from 7Digital
By: Alan Ng | July 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentGood news for BlackBerry owners, as it has been confirmed that the company will launch a service that will allow customers to download music wirelessly, offering a similar service to Apple and Nokia.
As reported from TheTelegraph, BlackBerry will be teaming up with digital music service 7Digital, offering BlackBerry owners access to millions of songs instantly. The service will get under way in September for BlackBerry users in the UK, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
The music app will have to be downloaded from the BlackBerry App World and then customers will pay around 72 pence per song they wish to download. Whats also good is that the tracks won’t have copy protection software, so if you have friends with BlackBerry handsets, you’ll be able to share your songs with each other.
