
Apple iPhone 3GS has now launched in Singapore
By: Jamie Pert | July 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentAn article appeared yesterday on IntoMobile showing how popular the launch of the iPhone 3GS was in Singapore, initial estimations thought that perhaps 1,500 to 2,000 customers would gather around SingTel’s headquarters.
As it turned out more than 3,000 customers turned up, the person at the front of the queue is reported to have waited over 11 hours. Singtel’s executive Vice President stated “On average, a customer during the peak period will queue between anywhere for three to four hours”.
