What do you get if you are given an iPhone 3G, a jailbreak and then an open-source and cross-platform x86 emulator? The answer is simple; it is an Apple Smartphone that can run on Windows 95. Who would have thought that you could ever get and Apple iPhone to boot from Windows 95.
In the video that we have provided below, you will see how iSoft team with the help of Bochs emulator was able to run the iPhone on Windows 95. The process takes around 5-10 minutes of boot time just to see this pointless exercise.
This was only done for fun purposes, as there is no real use for it. The performance of the iPhone 3G mod is very slow, but there are rumors of a 3G S mod, this will offer slightly better performance. View the video below and let us know what you think.
