Windows 7 News: 60% of businesses plan to skip upgrade

Following results of a recent survey, It has been revealed that six in 10 companies plan to skip the purchase of Microsoft’s Windows 7 computer operating system, after fears that software and applications won’t be compatible with the new OS.

According to Reuters, Windows 7 is expected to be released to the public on October 22nd. The survey, which was compiled by ScriptLogic Corp also revealed that 60 percent of those surveyed have no plans to install Windows 7.

The remaining 34 percent said that they will try it by the end of next year and only 5.4 percent surveyed are willing to install Windows 7 before the end of 2009.
