Windows 7 Build 7600: First screenshots
By: Jamie Pert | July 13, 2009 | Leave a CommentVarious sources across the Web are reporting that build 7600 of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 is now complete, if this is the case it ties in nicely with Microsoft’s target release date for the RTM which was July 13th, which suggests that manufacturers will be receiving the software soon.
The latest releases before this one have all been 72XX releases, usually when such a bump up in build numbers occurs it signifies that the software is ready to be released to manufacturers; however it could just be a con-incidence.
If this is the RTM version of the software usually Microsoft will release a statement soon after the builds completion, as more information becomes available we will keep you posted. Check out arstechnica for further details and screen-shots.
