UFC and business with EA Sports
By: Alan Ng | July 13, 2009 | Leave a CommentUFC president Dana White has spoken out on EA’s decision to not add UFC to their list of sport franchises by sending a message to upcoming fighters. He is rather angry with EA’s treatment towards White’s company and has told everyone ‘Don’t do business with EA’.
According to MMAJunkie, EA Sports had spoken to Dana White and told him the following statement: ‘You’re not a real sport, we wouldn’t touch this thing. We want nothing to do with this.”
He also revealed after UFC 100, that he is currently ‘at war’ with video-game developers and said that those who decide to side with EA Sports will fall out of favour with UFC.
With EA Sports holding the rights for franchises such as Madden NFL, FIFA, NASCAR and Tiger Woods PGA series, they are obviously in a pretty good position right now.
