This is by far the best blackberry yet. The screen is simply amazing! It’s fast and everything works as it should. I had a Storm and had to replace it 4 times in one week due to numerous issues. The Tour is awesome!

Hi - I have a Storm now, replaced 3 times already within a month - did you have to pay for the Tour full priced or did you get to haggle with them and replace the Storm with this for no or little charge? They’re giving me a lot of trouble replacing it with a different model.. I want the Tour so bad but refuse to pay retail for it just b/c the Storm sucks..Thanks.

I really wanted it initially and was ready to buy it from Sprint since my contract just expired (and my treo 755 is dying)… and by far they have the best rate plan, even if the customer service can be a bit sketchy. However, now that they’ve announced that a wi-fi version of the Tour will be released at some point next year, I’m going to wait for that or see if there’s another/new/better pda phone with wi-fi that makes its way to Sprint’s lineup.

    The tour looks great.
However I am waiting to see the Blackberry Storm 2
    and the Samsung Orion 2

On my 4th storm and was able to get verizon to send me a Tour to replace my storm - due to get it tomorrow and I have heard nothing but good!

Just bought the Tour on Sunday… it’s simply amazing and gorgeous. The screen is vibrant and the keys feel great to type on. It’s sleek and easily pocketable. The battery life is much better than my old BlackBerry’s too. This is coming from a former user of the Blackberry Curve and Blackberry Pearl Flip. Very satisfied with my purchase!!!

I got my Tour Sunday when it first came out…after two days of fooling around with it (and I am a 6 year BBerry user), this is one great, awesome device. The browser is awesome…so, the lack of Wi-fi is compensated by a faster software responsiveness. The browser will take you to the real website..not a PDA type site like they used to have with the older versions. Anyway, I love it and will be a great keeper for two years…I can live with that.
