We have some info for you on the upcoming BlackBerry Storm 2 handset now, as it has been revealed that 9550 could be the model number associated with the phone, if recent reports are true.
As reported from BGR, one of the big selling points of the Storm 2 is the fact that it will feature WiFi, unlike its predecessor. Other features include a 360×480 resolution capacitive screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, Quad-band GSM/EDGE and CDMA 1xRTT/EVDO Rev. A.
You’ll also get high speed internet browsing thanks to HSDPA, while the new phone will run on BlackBerry OS 5.0. The phone is expected on Verizon and Vodafone before the end of the year.

If the BB Storm2 can bring the ‘real’ Internet to Verizon users, sign me up. Before I make the leap tho’ I will require a demo before buying one and putting my Storm 9530 out to pasture. Wish they’d have gone to a 4 Mega Pixel camera-or better but 3.2 isn’t bad.
