WLAN BlackBerry Tour in 2010

Sprint has just revealed that they are planning to add WiFi to the BlackBerry Tour phone starting from 2010. It seems as if they are not the only ones either as Verizon Wireless has also admitted that they will be bringing WiFi to their BlackBerry lineup in the future.

As reported from PhoneScoop, Sprint have also revealed that it will become a requirement in the future that all their handsets come packed with WiFi.

At the moment, two of the most popular BlackBerry handsets, the BlackBerry Tour 9630 and BlackBerry 9530 Storm are currently without WiFi.

No details have been released yet as to when WiFi will be coming to Sprint and Verizon, but we’ll keep you updated.
