
Rogers Announces DOCSIS 3.0-Based Service: Matches Comcast
By: Jamie Pert | July 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentGood news for you Canadians looking for faster Internet connections, Rogers has just announced that they are beginning to roll-out a faster service, this service is only available within the Great Toronto area to start with but should cover a wider area over time.
Rogers new DOCSIS 3.0 based service is said to match the service currently offered by Comcast.
Rogers will also be introducing a new 802.11n router, this router will be given away to the first fifty customers who sign up to their Ultimate service which costs $150 per month, after this giveaway the router will sell for $200.
