Nintendo Wii Vitality Sensor
By: Alan Ng | July 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentAfter Nintendo’s Wii Vitality Sensor was criticized at this year’s E3 event, Nintendo’s North American President Reggie Fils-Aime has spoken out recently, in which he has defended the upcoming peripheral.
As Gizmodo reports, the Wii Vitality Sensor has been given a harsh reception by fans, who possibly didn’t understand the potential of the upcoming device. In a recent statement though, Fils-Aime had this to say:
”[We] probably had a very similar conversation when we first showed the Nintendo DS: how is it going to work, why a touch screen, voice activation—I don’t get it. We probably had a similar conversation about the Wii Remote: how is this going to work, how is it going to work with the games that I want to play—I don’t get it. Now I’m hearing something similar for the Wii Vitality Sensor. And all I can tell you is, with the game developers that we have, we will bring forth an experience that you will say, “Wow, I get it.”
Yeah, we’re sure its going to be much more than ‘just’ a heart-measuring tool. Let us know your expectations on the Vitality Sensor.
