Nikon D90 Homebrewed Lens
By: Alan Ng | July 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf you own a Nikon D90 camera, we’re sure this story will interest you. One owner has decided to mod his Nikon D90 and has created a fish-eyed lens on the end of his camera, all for $16.
Head over to Engadget to see a close up image of the final product. The lens was made using ordinary household objects such as a PVC reduction pipe and an entry door viewer.
If you’re interested in trying out this for yourself, a full set of step-by-step instructions can be found over Instructables. They have also included some sample images for you to check out.
Be prepared though, your Nikon D90 will never look the same again after this method. Let us know what you think.
