An OEM netbook has shown up on Engadget, the first thing that strikes you is that it looks almost exactly identical to the ASUS Eee PC 1002HA. However when you look at the technical specifications you see a big difference.
The OEM netbook runs a 1.6Ghz VIA Nano processor with S3 Chrome 9 graphics, alongside this it supports up to 4GB of memory and has 500GB of storage. The netbook also supports full 1080p video, this is wasted on its 1024×600 resolution screen however can be outputted to your HDTV via the HDMI out port.
This currently un-badged netbook starts to close the gap between laptops and netbooks, and is expected to be re-badged soon and become on our shelves.
