EA have just officially announced that Command and Conquer 4 is indeed on the way and that it will be released in 2010. Furthermore, the company also revealed that the game is a PC exclusive and will ‘not’ be making its way to consoles.
As reported from VG247, additions to the classic series include class-based gameplay, mobile bases and persistent player progression throughout all game modes. Fans will also be treated to an ‘objective-based’ multiplayer mode where you’ll again be able to choose between GDI or Nod.
Here is a portion of the official press release from EA:
“Command & Conquer is a powerful franchise with an amazing 15-year legacy. We are thrilled to bring the dramatic Tiberium saga to a conclusion in Command & Conquer 4. This game is designed to give fans all the answers they’ve been looking for.”
